Senior Program Manager
Deborah Werner, M.A., is a senior program manager at AHP and serves as the project director for the Technical Assistance (TA) and Training on Women and Families Impacted by Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders contract with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Since 1989, she has been engaged in efforts to leverage individual and community assets to build quality, supportive health, housing, and social services that improve resiliency, recovery, and social well-being for individuals, families, and communities. In particular, she has significant expertise and experience designing effective, evidence-based programs and workforce training centered on women, pregnant women, and families. Her experience includes leading training initiatives, providing strategic consultation, launching programs, advocating for improved policies, evaluating programs, and delivering services. Ms. Werner has led transformation initiatives and managed federal, state, and local TA projects, as well as provided planning and performance consultation and coaching for community and government agencies.
