Steve Thronson, M.B.A., is a program director at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). Mr. Thronson is a healthcare and community leader with success in creating cultures and leading operations focused on providing high-quality care and services through efficient delivery systems for public, private, nonprofit, government, and investor-owned organizations. He has experience across the full continuum of health and community services, including national managed care plans, state and federal programs, hospitals, national healthcare consulting services, behavior health programs, large multi-specialty medical groups, and large urban county health departments. He has improved population health through disease management, linkages, analytics, quality metrics, and utilization review. Mr. Thronson also led change innovations through multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder collaboration, regulatory compliance, consistent organizational policies and best practices, and administrative and technology enhancements.
Mr. Thronson has experience with growing talent and culture, including leading employee engagement analysis and improvement efforts to enhance performance, retention, recruitment efforts, build cohesive teams, and motivate employees to meet and exceed the organization’s vision and outcomes. He is dedicated and focused on serving vulnerable and underserved individuals and communities. He holds a M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
