AHP Selected to Support Opioid Settlement Fund Administration in Barnstable, Massachusetts

Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) has been selected by the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, to support the administration and oversight of the Town’s opioid settlement funds. Through this partnership, AHP will help strengthen funding administration, support transparent grantmaking processes, provide implementation support to funded organizations, and assist with compliance and reporting activities.
The Town’s opioid settlement strategy is focused on prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery support. Since November 2024, Barnstable has distributed more than $559,000 to local organizations addressing the impacts of the opioid crisis.
AHP brings extensive experience supporting state and local governments in the administration of opioid settlement funds and other public funding initiatives. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring settlement dollars are invested transparently, responsibly, and in alignment with community priorities.
