AHP DEI Director to Discuss Misinformed Choice on New Podcast

Caring for Caregivers: Your Life Support,” a just-released podcast focused on the emotional well-being of Illinois health and human service workers features Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Pat Tucker on Friday, February 25, 2022. Tucker will delve into “misinformed choice,” discussing misinformation and information mistrust during the COVID pandemic and how that takes a toll on front-line workers and professional caregivers.

Tucker is a nationally recognized leader who provides technical assistance and training to health and human service providers throughout the country on multiple subjects, including cultural competency; working with marginalized populations; supportive housing; and community integration for people with disabilities. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of housing and employment for unhoused people.

As AHP’s DEI Director, Tucker has a strong commitment to strengthening diversit, equity, and inclusion internally and throughout AHP’s national project work with vulnerable populations, behavioral health and human services providers, direct service providers, and professional caregivers.
