AHP Expands to Arizona: New Phoenix Office Opening in November

Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) announces its expansion to Phoenix, Arizona, with a new office opening on November 25, 2024. This office will provide a key location for AHP’s continued work in delivering expert-driven solutions in behavioral health, public health, housing, and workforce development.

The opening of our Arizona office marks a significant milestone in AHP’s mission to transform communities and lives across the country. We are excited to collaborate with local leaders and organizations to address critical needs in behavioral health and public health, with a strong focus on ending homelessness and ensuring that everyone has equitable access to safe, stable housing.

The Arizona office will enable AHP to further support local communities through its comprehensive services, which include consulting, training, research, program evaluation, administrative services, and policy development. Expansion into Arizona aligns with AHP’s commitment to improving health and human services systems nationwide. 

As part of this new chapter, AHP will bring a full range of services to Arizona, including the following: 

  • Consulting, training, and technical assistance for behavioral health providers and local, county, and state agencies 
  • Housing and homelessness services 
  • Data science and innovation, including predictive analytics 
  • Behavioral health workforce development solutions

 

Research and evaluation: 

  • Collaborating with federal, state, and local governments and community-based programs to design and conduct projects that range from small evaluations of program interventions to large-scale, multisite studies. 
  • Developing culturally competent data collection instruments, protocols, and systems to measure implementation, process, outcomes, and performance. 
  • Analyzing primary and secondary data, including large state and national data sets, to answer key questions. 
  • Providing data technical support. 
  • Reporting in timely and innovative ways to help improve programs and practice. 

 

Policy, program development, and evaluation in the following areas: 

  • Justice-involved persons and community reentry 
  • Substance use disorders and the opioid epidemic 
  • Crisis response inclusive of mobile crisis, integration with emergency response, 988, and crisis treatment 
  • Behavioral health treatment and support 
  • Integrated behavioral health care 
  • Behavioral health infrastructure and continuum of care design 

 

Grants management for government funds dedicated to solving behavioral health, housing, homelessness, or other health-related social needs: 

  • Procurement and grantee selection procedures 
  • Contracting as a service 
  • Training and technical assistance 
  • Compliance 
  • Funds disbursement 
  • Customer service
