Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP), a multi-state company specializing in transforming behavioral healthcare for complex, vulnerable populations, today announced it has been designated a Great Place to Work-Certified® company for the fourth consecutive year. AHP has offices in Sudbury, Massachusetts; Albany, New York; Germantown, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois; and Pasadena, California.

Certification is a significant achievement and one in which AHP leadership takes great pride. Using validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work’s rigorous, data-driven methodology, certification confirms 7 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience at AHP. Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation.

AHP earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys. Ratings for the company improved across the board from 2018, with the highest and most significant scores relating to inclusivity, flexibility, and workplace pride. A large majority feel people are treated fairly at AHP regardless of race (96 percent) or sexual orientation (97 percent); 96 percent report they can take off from work when they think it’s necessary; 92 percent feel good about the ways AHP contributes to the community; 94 percent believe management would lay people off only as a last resort; and 99 percent feel the AHP workplace is a physically safe environment. Overall, 87 percent of employees say AHP is a great place to work.

We are delighted to once again be recognized as a Great Place to Work, as our company vision is to empower people to live their best possible lives and reach their full potential—and this includes our staff. This designation reflects the outstanding efforts of everyone at AHP to create an inclusive, safe and creative work environment. Our work has real purpose, and we are grateful to have such a strong culture of teamwork, creativity and compassion for others at AHP.”
