AHP’s Actionable Analytics: Data That Gets You Moving
When you need real-time insights and practical solutions for your behavioral health workforce, we’re here to help.
Through the combined expertise of AHP’s Innovation Department and Workforce Innovation Lab, you’ll get a powerful mix of predictive analytics and actionable strategies designed specifically for your workforce challenges and opportunities.
Here’s how we’ll partner with you:
1. Complete a focused environmental scan
We’ll conduct a detailed scan of your workforce environment, reviewing recent labor market information such as labor force participation rates, supply and demand data by behavioral health occupation, average salaries (compared to similar states), and living wage data.
- Review and summarize existing behavioral health workforce supply and demand reports and other relevant national and state-specific data sources.
2. Develop, conduct, and analyze a statewide workforce survey
We’ll design and lead a large-scale survey of your behavioral health workforce—and, if helpful, include neighboring states to capture the full picture.
- Identify workforce trends related to onboarding, quality of care, burnout, turnover/retention, workplace culture, psychological safety, and other key outcomes at the individual, county, and occupational levels.
- Uncover the main drivers of retention challenges across all key behavioral health occupations.
3: Identify, prioritize, and implement workforce interventions
Using the survey findings, we’ll work with you to turn insights into action.
- Recommend and help implement strategies such as career exploration initiatives, recruitment and onboarding enhancements, supervision improvements, and workplace well-being programs.
- Deliverables may include training, coaching, educational modules, guides, communities of practice, or connections to strategic partners.
Throughout the process, we’re by your side—helping you develop short-, medium-, and long-term strategies to strengthen and grow your behavioral health workforce. With a clear plan and a trusted partner, you’ll never have to navigate these challenges alone. Together, we’ll get you moving! Looking for more ways to strengthen your workforce and spark innovation?
