Partnering with Tribes for Real Impact: From Planning to Implementation—You’ll Never Walk Alone

Service BriefsLast updated: Apr 03, 2025

Native American communities across the United States face uniquely interconnected challenges rooted in historical trauma, systemic inequities, and disparities in access to resources.

Legacies of forced displacement, assimilation, and cultural disruption resulting in intergenerational trauma have manifested in elevated rates of mental health and substance use disorders, disproportionately high rates of chronic diseases, and significant challenges related to housing and homelessness. Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) strives to build bridges to opportunities for healing and recovery with Tribal communities.

AHP is committed to working hand in hand with Tribal communities—centering cultural sensitivity, Tribal sovereignty, and lived experience as key foundations of our approach to support. Our team of Tribal experts ensures each initiative is informed by a deep cultural understanding and is tailored to meet the unique needs and strengths of each Nation.
