Allen Fowler, M.A., is a consultant at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) with expertise in workforce development and writing. Mr. Fowler has over 28 years of experience in education and curriculum development. For most of his career he has been in the nonprofit sector working with and for underserved youth and young adults. Starting in 2016, he turned his focus toward workforce development and was part of team designing, crafting, and implementing a robust work readiness curriculum with versions tailored to youth, young adults, justice-involved populations, nontraditional learners, and those with a range of abilities. 

Mr. Fowler has designed and led a range of professional learning communities and is a committed proponent of interorganizational collaboration. In December 2018, at the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals Youth Symposium, Mr. Fowler co-presented with the director of YouthBuild Springfield (Massachusetts) about their collaboration in implementing targeted job readiness training within the fields of construction and health care. Mr. Fowler received his M.F.A. in painting from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his M.A. in English language and literature from the University of Virginia.
