Susan Lange, M.Ed., is a program director and workforce development specialist at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) with more than 25 years of experience as an innovative system builder focused on stakeholder engagement and measurable impact. She is a leader committed to workforce development strategy and systems improvement so that all individuals, particularly those who have historically been without access to social capital, are empowered to succeed. She has worked with a wide array of populations (including youth, young adults, and chronically unemployed and justice-based populations), addressing work readiness and skill acquisition, youth development, trauma, and the challenges of community reentry. Ms. Lange designed and is leading AHP’s newly developed Workforce Innovation Lab for Behavioral Health Workforce and is currently directing several workforce development–focused projects. She is also a senior subject matter expert (SME) on the development of behavioral health workforce strategic planning projects for the states of California and Louisiana. Ms. Lange contributes her experience in youth and young adult workforce development as an SME on a mentored internship program in California as well as on a project with the University of Wisconsin’s Behavioral Health Excellence Technical Assistance Center. She received her master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
