Valerie Everett, M.S.W., LCSW, E-MBA, CPSS, is the deputy director for administrative services at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). In addition to her senior leadership role within AHP, Ms. Everett provides strategic planning consultation services. She has more than 19 years of experience working in the physical and behavioral healthcare fields; 10 of which were in progressive leadership positions. She began her career working with veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she served as a program coordinator and later as a supervisor. Most recently, Ms. Everett worked for a not-for-profit managed care organization overseeing and managing behavioral health services. She also managed a program for pregnant individuals and new parents who were diagnosed with substance use disorder. She also has a specialty in palliative care and experience teaching on the collegiate level. She is a certified supervisor for peer support specialists and is trained in the Six Sigma/LEAN process. Ms. Everett has her master’s degree in social work (M.S.W.) from Marywood University and holds a clinical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania (LCSW). She also has her executive master’s degree in business administration (E-MBA) from Quantic School of Business.
