Demetria “Deme” Hill, D.P.A., M.A., is a principal consultant at Advocates for Human Potential (AHP). Dr. Hill has served U.S. communities for nearly 30 years in social services and government as an expert in the areas of criminal justice, behavioral health, housing, and homelessness. Dr. Hill is currently a state-appointed juvenile justice commissioner and has served as the longest standing member on the San Diego Reentry Roundtable, hosted by the District Attorney’s Office, as chair, vice chair, and undersecretary. She has served on various community and government boards throughout her extensive career and developed and maintained partnerships with more than 300 organizations nationally. She is known as a dedicated and charismatic community advocate, impacting and mitigating some of society’s most pressing social challenges. Dr. Hill holds a doctorate in public administration and a master’s in public relations from California Baptist University.
