Senior Program Manager II

Nicky Stevens, M.A.S., is a Senior Program Manager II and trainer on housing and homelessness and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for Advocates for Human Potential. She is a nationally recognized expert in the field of ending homelessness using an equity lens with more than 20 years of experience. This includes working at non-profits and local government through the city of Tempe and the Maricopa County Continuum of Care. Ms. Stevens has served many diverse sub-populations— applying an equity lens—including veterans, domestic violence survivors, families, youth, and people living with a serious mental illness. She has been an administrator of Section 8 vouchers, Housing Choice Vouchers, (HCV), Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Re-Housing (RRH), Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), and homeless outreach services 

Ms. Stevens holds both a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on social justice and human rights from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Manager (CPM). In October 2023, Ms. Stevens was certified by the University of South Florida in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.
